TITLE SEQUENCE
Connecting with the Island
After analyzing the series, we came to understand the island as a place shaped by a unique history that influences its inhabitants across generations. At the studio, we translated this universe into our own visual language, portraying some of its most significant characters through symbolic imagery and elements connected to their stories, allowing us to capture and convey their essence.
We’ll Take You There
We wanted to guide the viewer toward the setting where the story unfolds, as well as toward the symbolic elements and scenes we considered most significant. We designed fluid, organic transitions to maintain visual and narrative continuity, drawing the viewer deeper into the story.
The Island Language
We aimed to create an atmosphere that immersed the viewer in a world of mystery and a past rich in meaning.
To achieve this, we gathered visual references from across the series, ranging from the illustrations in the village museum and the paintings decorating spaces such as the hotel, bar, homes, and town hall to the wallpaper patterns found throughout these interiors. Drawing on these elements, we reinterpreted their shapes and motifs to create a visual language that felt coherent with the world of the series.
